THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced auditor at the supervisory or managerial level to step into the role of Audit Manager with a clear pathway to Audit Partner.
With the guidance of a retiring Partner, you will have mentorship and support as you transition into this leadership role.
You will be positioned to lead our client's audit division, overseeing current client relationships while actively driving new business growth and expanding the Audit Division.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee a variety of audit engagements, providing compliance services for clients, including clubs, associations, trust accounts, and SMSFs Ensure strict adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements to deliver high-quality outcomes Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing responsive support and a positive experience to help meet their compliance goals Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and achieving shared objectives Create detailed audit reports with insights and recommendations to strengthen clients' financial processes EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA, CA Minimum 5 years' experience in external audit Proficiency in various accounting software Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards Excellent communication skills for networking and client engagement Ability to work independently and within a high-performing team Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset Leadership ability to guide a small, high-performance team THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
