AUDIO VISUAL TEAM LEADER Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm. The Audio-Visual Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the daily operations and activities of the Audio-Visual team while providing backup technical support for desktop issues.
This role ensures high-quality service delivery for AV events, coordinates AV for major client and internal meetings, and handles technical issues to meet the firm's objectives.
The individual will focus on building processes for continuous improvement and fostering a customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities : Oversee all AV requests for events, client meetings, and ad hoc requests, ensuring equipment is prepared and tested in advance. Collaborate with event teams and stakeholders to determine AV requirements, advise on equipment selection, and configure setups to meet event objectives, and adhere to organisational processes. Oversee scheduling and performance management of the Audio-Visual team. Manage Audio-Visual support related issues and escalations. Monitor and review the Audio-Visual dashboards and tickets, data and analytics for quality and standards. Provide Audio-Visual support related reporting data into weekly and monthly Service Delivery reporting, using these metrics to identify potential service improvements and efficiency opportunities. Coordinate quality and improvement opportunities with our AV support vendor including lodgement of issues / repair requests. As needed, provide backup support for desktop issues, including but not limited to installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment. Required Skills : Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to service delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical information to diverse audiences. Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment. Sound ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business issues and develop appropriate technical approaches. Preferred Qualifications and Experience : Understanding of ITSM ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow. Experience supporting a multi-platform AV environment (e.g. Teams + Zoom + Cisco etc). Leadership or team management experience. Experience in a corporate AV environment. Knowledge of Crestron control systems or similar.
