Join the dynamic team with our client as an APS4 equivalent Assurance Review Officer.APS4 equivalent $43+ p/h+ superLocated in Brisbane, QueenslandUp to 12 months assignment with potential to extend, pending business and performance requirements.About the TeamThe Scheme Reform and 3P Transition Branch supports major change initiatives within Service Delivery, including the Reform for Outcomes Initiatives. One of the key frontline initiatives is the Workforce Capability - Assurance Planning Team, which is seeking Assurance Planning Officers to help ensure that participants consistently receive high-quality plans through thorough assurance checks. Additionally, the role involves scheduling plan reassessment appointments, contributing to better outcomes for people with disabilities.About the RoleAs an APS4 Assurance Planning Officer, you will work within a supportive team environment and engage in moderately complex activities that contribute to the quality assurance of participant plans. Working under general direction, you will provide both operational and administrative support, ensuring your work aligns with established policies and procedures to achieve the broader objectives of the organisation. You will also have a public-facing role, communicating and offering advice to internal and external stakeholders.Conduct planning assurance checks to ensure participant plans meet high standards and deliver quality outcomes.Collect and assess key planning decisions in line with relevant legislation and related regulations.Maintain accurate and high-quality record keeping, proficiently using IT systems and adhering to standard operating procedures.Review routine cases and handle moderately complex cases with assistance from higher-level staff.Manage team workflows, including organising the team inbox and scheduling reassessment appointments.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide support and gather necessary information.About youTo thrive in this role, you need:Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency in understanding and applying legislation.Strong data literacy and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer engagement and interpersonal skills.High competency with IT systems and ability to navigate databases.Understanding of the disability sector and related services.Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.Must be an Australian Citizen.To apply, please submit your updated resume and a brief cover letter detailing your relevant experience.
