Associate / Senior Associate – Design Leader (Landscape)

Archibat HR is looking for an Associate / Senior Associate – Design Leader (Landscape) for a World Class International Landscape Design company, to be based in their Perth office in Australia.
The role: Contributing a confident leadership style and the dexterous management of projects to deliver powerful and innovative design outcomes. The Associates play a key role at the studio, not only confidently managing projects to deliver innovative and fresh design outcomes but leading teams and shaping a lasting culture in the studio. People are at the core of what they do and how they do it – their workplace culture is supportive, creative, and active. They are looking for motivated, collaborative designers; individuals who are excellent communicators in their design and people leadership.
Required profile Requirements: The right candidate will put the pursuit of purpose at the center of his/her design ideas. He/She has a strong portfolio of high-quality conceptual design work. He/She will have delivered a range of projects from concept design and master planning to contract documentation and administration, along with a strong understanding of technical design documentation and translation of conceptual ideas into buildable documentation packages.
Adept at working across geographies and with diverse international clients and collaborators, his/her strategic approach allows him/her to navigate the challenges posed by complex, city-shaping projects. Strong communication skills have enabled him/her to successfully advocate for design outcomes, and his/her capacity for listening and sensitivity allows him/her to interpret and develop a brief.
He/She has experience leading a design team, in both a face-to-face and remote working environment. He/She finds joy in mentoring others and watching them develop.
Over the course of his/her career, he/she has led or assisted with the development of submissions and proposals and contributed to the preparation of project-related design strategy. He/She is confident preparing high-quality documentation and confidently presenting to external client groups.
An enthusiasm for contributing to and evolving dynamic workflows is desirable with proficient knowledge of 3D design software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Twinmotion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
