About the Role Due to recent growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate to join our Insurance team in our Brisbane office. Ideally, you will be a 2-4 PQE lawyer.
This role will see you working on a wide variety of complex but interesting matters in the financial lines litigation, cyber security and professional indemnity space. This role will provide the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by one of our highly regarded Principals in the Brisbane office. This role will also provide an excellent opportunity for fast career advancement based on proven performance.
About you To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
To be an experienced lawyer with 2-4 years post admission experience in professional indemnity law gained working in an Insurance and Litigation practice team. Genuine interest in cyber security law. Candidates with experience in cyber security will be highly regarded. Solid ground in Financial Lines litigation work. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to work well under pressure. A positive, "can do" attitude and willingness to be a key member of a tight knit team. A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career. Personal Qualities Team player Positive and helpful manner Ability to deal effectively with a broad range of people at all levels in business Active listener and receptive to feedback.
