Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and InnovationAssociate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation, Temporary, SydneyThis role is a 3-year temporary role.It is a salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $145,378 - $168,130 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.Join INSW and play your part in creating a sustainable infrastructure legacy for NSW!About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join us as the Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation.In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading our efforts to coordinate infrastructure policy matters in NSW.Your responsibilities will include supporting robust infrastructure investment decision-making, and the implementation of complex infrastructure policy reforms by leading the analysis of a range of data and information, managing government and industry stakeholders and by developing high-quality advice.Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of a range of infrastructure policy initiatives using a variety of project management and collaboration tools to ensure milestones are met and outcomes and expectations are achieved.Lead the analysis and review of state- and national-level infrastructure issues, strategies, reforms, service systems and operations, to inform advice and shape pragmatic solutions to improve state infrastructure outcomes.Undertake a range of analysis (e.g. data, policy, regulatory, best practices and market trends) and prepare visualisations for communication to senior executives in Government, and contribute to publications.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to allow the gathering of information and analysis, and influence policy outcomes.About YouOur ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Additionally, they bring significant experience in interacting with stakeholders within complex and dynamic environments, particularly within infrastructure sectors. Moreover, they will have a solid record of advising senior stakeholders or steering committees on infrastructure matters.
