Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and InnovationLocation: Temporary, SydneyThis role is a 3-year temporary role with a salary Grade 11/12, starting at $145,378 - $168,130 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.Join INSW and play your part in creating a sustainable infrastructure legacy for NSW!About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join us as the Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading our efforts to coordinate infrastructure policy matters in NSW.Your responsibilities will include supporting robust infrastructure investment decision-making and the implementation of complex infrastructure policy reforms by leading the analysis of a range of data and information, managing government and industry stakeholders, and developing high-quality advice.Key Accountabilities:Plan, manage, and monitor the implementation of a range of infrastructure policy initiatives using project management and collaboration tools to ensure milestones are met and outcomes are achieved.Lead the analysis and review of state- and national-level infrastructure issues, strategies, reforms, service systems, and operations to inform advice and shape pragmatic solutions.Undertake a range of analysis (e.g., data, policy, regulatory, best practices, and market trends) and prepare visualizations for communication to senior executives in Government.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to gather information and influence policy outcomes.About YouOur ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. They bring significant experience in interacting with stakeholders within complex environments, particularly in infrastructure sectors. A solid record of advising senior stakeholders or steering committees on infrastructure matters is essential.
