**About the role.**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to lead the delivery of assigned projects and staff to undertake complex policy or project work to inform policy directions, facilitate service delivery reforms or major initiatives and provide well researched and sound options on which the Department can rely for effective decision making or delivery.

In this role, you will prepare high level advice to the executive of the Premier's Department and the Premier on these matters.

- You have key knowledge of the emergency management sector, as well as machinery of government, Departmental and cross-agency processes.
- You are a decisive leader, experienced in managing critical projects and driving successful government reforms.
- You have the skills to lead diverse teams, navigate complex initiatives, and deliver results aligned with key objectives.
- You want to make an impact, collaborating with senior stakeholders to shape policies that address significant public needs.
- You understand the complexities of policy evaluation, project execution, and stakeholder management to ensure informed decisions.
- You bring expertise in assessing risks, optimizing processes, and delivering projects that meet government goals on time and on budget.

**Salary**: Clerk Grade 11/12. Package includes base salary ($139,787 - $161,663) plus superannuation and leave loading.
