The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing Aboriginal heritage projects, with a strong emphasis on site identification and avoidance surveys, Section 16 and 18 approvals, desktop due diligence reports, and excavations. They should be adept at managing their own time and producing written work of the highest standard.The role will lead the team in delivering both historic and Aboriginal archaeological projects, including complex fieldwork and permit application processes in close communication with directors, clients, and other stakeholders. This position is also responsible for supporting the National Director further growing the archaeology offering in the Perth office.To be successful you will have:Tertiary qualifications in archaeology, anthropology or cultural heritage management.Demonstrated experience and strong track record with a similar role at a similar level.6-10+ years of post-graduate experience, specializing in archaeology and ideally anthropology.Demonstrated ability to be recognized as an Excavation Director is favorable.This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic firm that truly values their staff and offers ongoing learning and career development opportunities.
