Job Description : Role Overview The Account Director plays an integral role in the organisation, working closely with those senior to them, and helping to grow more junior members of the team, nurturing them, and teaching them the ropes. The Account Director needs to establish strong client relationships, deliver projects of a high quality, ensure budgets, deadlines and client needs are met with efficiency. They are responsible for managing medium to large sized clients, and both qualitative and quantitative projects. They also play a strong internal role in developing materials and IP required to put forward winning proposals and ideas to our clients and prospects. KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA'S) - JOB SPECIFIC 1. Project/Account/Client Management Manage clients, projects and relationships ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that a strategic view is taken of their business - independently for medium-sized business, and jointly with the Managing Directors for large businesses Undertake both quantitative and qualitative projects undertaking interviews, running groups, crunching numbers for quant, participating in brainstorming sessions, compiling both qual and quant presentations. Troubleshoot issues with suppliers and handle unplanned occurrences with high levels of capability. Support those senior to you in the organisation. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key clients and suppliers 2. Business Development Identify new business opportunities and pursue them. Attend new business meetings and write proposals, with a focus on independent proposal writing for medium sized clients, and working jointly on large clients with the Managing Directors Responsible for effective and efficient onboarding and integration of new clients and developing existing client relationships. Assist in development of the business more broadly, cementing an enthusiastic and cando culture and a winning work ethic 3.
