About your new team The Retail IT group of ActewAGL's Technology Division is highly customer focused, providing a broad range of Technology services to the ActewAGL Retail business. This includes projects, business as usual (BAU) work and production support. We are a highly supportive, collaborative, fun and dynamic team.
About your new role In this role, you will work collaboratively with other Business Analysts within the team to understand, analyse and document business requirements, scope work and document business processes (current and future state) relating to ActewAGL technology initiatives. The Associate Business Analyst will also work with Development teams and Testers to enable the successful delivery of business requirements, while proactively looking to implement continuous improvement to the way things are done.
A day in the life of the role You will be applying discovery processes and documenting business requirements. Analyse business requests Apply Agile techniques Work with Developers and Testers to ensure clarity on requirements Contribute to team brainstorms and continuous improvement Assist with creating UI mock ups Build strong stakeholder relationships within the team and across the business About you and what you will bring to be successful Essential You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills You have strong written and verbal communication skills You have a desire to learn and adapt quickly to change You have the ability to prioritise and manage workloads to ensure effective delivery of tasks You have a degree or final year of a degree in Business Analytics or Information Technology Desirable but not essential Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience writing user stories and detailed business requirements Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops 6 to 12 months in a Business Analyst role So, why join us?
