Assistant Yearling Manager – Rosemont Stud

Rosemont Stud is one of Victoria's most progressive stud farms, emerging as a leading provider of thoroughbred services covering breeding and spelling near the major regional centre of Geelong.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Yearling Manager has become available within our team. You will be an instrumental part in the farm's success.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding team player with excellent communication skills and high levels of organisational management, accuracy and attention to detail.
The role is hands on and will require competence in all facets of Yearling management but not limited to;

General care of Yearlings.
Sale Preparation.
Assisting and scheduling of farrier visits.
Developing and maintaining feed, vitamin and supplement schedules.
Administration and coordination of medication.
Experience on a horse breeding operation in an equivalent position.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
