The Assistant Miller supports the Miller in ensuring the smooth operation of the Feedmill on a day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities will include:Ensuring products are produced within specification.Meeting production schedules while ensuring safety and quality requirements are not compromised.Managing all ingredients and raw materials within guidelines.Required AttributesTo be considered for this opportunity, you will have the following attributes:Computer literacyA desire to learn and progressStrong mechanical aptitudeSolid mathematical and communication skillsTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and positive attitudeSafety and quality consciousFlexible to undertake tasks across our site and in different areas of the businessForklift LicenceExperienceExperience in the Stockfeed Milling or Milling environments is desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided.Working ConditionsThis position will require you to work (8 hour shifts) on a rotating Day, Night, Afternoon roster. A training and induction program will be offered along with a competitive wage, including the relevant shift-work penalties.CopRice Leeton is a shift work operation.
