International tourism and transport company ASX200 listed with 12000+ employees globally Access to a range of Employee Benefits About the Role Kelsian Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Corporate Finance Team.
This role will provide accounting support in preparing monthly accounts, year-end financials, reconciliations, tax returns, and regulatory lodgements.
Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, this role will be integral to achieving timely and accurate financial reporting across the Kelsian Group and its group entities.
Key Responsibilities Month-End Accounting: Prepare and process monthly journals, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliations.
Fixed Assets Management: Maintain fixed asset registers, process monthly depreciation, and ensure adherence to asset accounting policies.
End of Year: Assist with end-of-year journals, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and audit support.
Taxation: Support in the preparation of monthly GST and PAYG returns and FBT compliance, Corporate Support: Provide administrative support as needed, prepare regulatory forms, and contribute to process improvements.
Skills & Experience Required Experience with accounting software (Accpac preferred) and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
High attention to detail with the ability to work systematically and logically.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively across various levels.
Ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment and a small team.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance/Business or equivalent experience (3+ years).
Prior experience in the Tourism or Transport industries is desirable.
