The Assistant Brand Manager will support one of our key brand portfolios - McVitie's, Jacob's, Godiva, New Platforms, and Commercial Brands.
As an Assistant Brand Manager for McVitie's Masterbrand Comms, you will support the Senior Brand Manager in driving the development and implementation of the brand strategy, working with our commercial teams to develop growth plans, and delivering compelling and distinctive brand marketing programmes.
You will also take full responsibility for developing and implementing key brand initiatives such as Masterbrand comms planning and execution, product renovation development projects, product launches, and social/PR and shopper media campaigns as appropriate to deliver the overall revenue and profit delivery of a brand portfolio.
What do you need for this role? Essential FMCG Marketing experience (operational or development) Proven Project Management experience (Great organisation and collaboration skills) Communications and Media experience (either in-house or agency experience, social media is a plus) Drive for results: someone who takes action to meet goals and objectives. Resilience: someone who stays with the task even when it gets tedious, difficult, or inconvenient. Inter-personal relationships: knows how to build and maintain relationships needed for the role.
