This is a role that has variety and sees you join the team that provides bookkeeping services to Congregations and other related entities for the Uniting Church in South Australia.
Based at their city Synod (main) office and operating within Service Level Agreements with each entity, you will:
Provide professional bookkeeping services to Treasurers and key client contacts. Provide support services including MYOB set-up and training/workshops. Provide effective and efficient responses to email, telephone and in-person enquiries. Prepare a fortnightly payroll for a key related entity. Support and assist the Manager, Financial Services to ensure that services to clients are delivered in a timely and professional manner. Process transactions through MYOB accounting systems. Complete and lodge BAS returns for clients. Assist with administering records for taxation/ACNC registration and GST liability. Success in this role will come from your bookkeeping experience through to financial reporting and your computer literacy in MYOB, Word and Excel. Any payroll experience would be highly regarded. It is expected that you will have a Certificate IV in Accounting or a related field as a minimum and have, or be willing to obtain, BAS agent registration.
