About the opportunityManage and grow a portfolio of commercial and general insurance clients. The position will be assisting Senior Account Executive/Director with a view to take over their portfolio or part thereof in the future, but still maintaining the initial aspects and duties of the job. We will provide Training on all online platforms with various underwriters and SVU. By working closely within our Client Service Team, Client Partners, Underwriting Partners and other Service Providers, we have built up a market leading reputation and will expect you to contribute to these relationships, to ensure our continued success.
Probation period will be 6 months and an incentive Bonus structure is in place for all sales staff including Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives.Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Nurture and develop client relationships and ensure service level agreements are met
Excellent Communication skills with the ability to communicate with all parties associated with our business, ie, existing and potential clients, underwriters, loss adjusters and premium funders
Strong attention to detail
Tier 1 compliant with at least 5 years experience in Commercial and General Insurance
Be aware of all FSR requirements
Assist Directors and Account Executives in support
Process all new business, renewals and endorsements on Winbeat, Sunrise and SVU
Utilise of DMS - Officetech
Prepare quotation slips for submission to underwriters
Take information from clients over the telephone and obtain quotations for their insurance requirements from underwriters
Prepare quotations for new business and renewals
Prepare premium funding quotations
Answer client queries
Answer underwriter queries
Skills & Requirements
Tier 1 RG146 accreditation - broking
5+ years experience in General and Commercial Insurance experience
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Proven ability to easily build rapport and a friendly demeanor
Familiar with the following systems:
SVU (Steadfast Virtual Underwriter
Premium Funding Software
