This role will see you manage a diverse portfolio across Rockhampton & surrounding areas, focusing on delivering high-quality management to their clients.The Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join a forward-thinking team in Rockhampton. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing property assets to ensure they meet high maintenance, compliance, and performance standards.Key Responsibilities:Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the collection and analysis of property data, including asset condition, lifecycle management, and procurement processes. Provide detailed reports and forecasts to support decision-making and budget planning.Procurement and Contract Management: Ensure effective procurement outcomes, manage service provider agreements, and oversee the implementation of quality standards and technical specifications. Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.Planned and Cyclical Maintenance: Develop and manage maintenance schedules for asset refurbishment and upgrades, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices. Monitor project progress and manage variations.Property Condition Assessments: Conduct and manage property condition assessments and inspections, ensuring all findings are documented and addressed. Coordinate with contractors to complete necessary repairs and improvements.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, technical & consultants. Support the implementation of strategic asset management plans and policies.About You:Experience: Extensive experience in asset management, with a strong background in managing maintenance programs, procurement, and contractor relationships.Knowledge: Deep understanding of asset management principles, building compliance, and safety standards, including fire systems and WH&S regulations.Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
