About the Role We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in managing asset and configuration data within ITSM environments.
This critical role ensures compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making by maintaining an accurate CMDB, engaging stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.
Due to the level of security clearance required for this role you will need to be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN.
You MUST ALSO BE BASED IN EITHER PERTH OR ADELAIDE.
(although we do offer hybrid, but it must be in those locations) Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate asset and configuration data within ITSM tools, ensuring timely updates to the CMDB.
Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with policies, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Analyse data to generate detailed reports on asset utilisation, configuration compliance, and financial impacts, supporting billing and operational reviews.
Serve as the primary contact for asset and configuration-related queries, liaising with senior management, finance, and IT teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless communication and data integrity.
Identify and address data or process gaps, proactively implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
About You You bring: Extensive experience managing asset and configuration data in ITSM environments.
Expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting , delivering high-quality insights to senior management.
Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and build stakeholder partnerships.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to driving operational improvements.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience ITIL 4 certifications.
Familiarity with ITSM tooling and CMDB systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
Understanding of asset lifecycle management, including procurement, tagging, deployment, and decommissioning.
