Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Assessment Officer on a contract for 6 months with potential extension 12 Months.
Duties & Responsibilities:
processing applications for accounts
processing applications for authorised representatives nominated to operate accounts
processing applications to enrol new participants (the client information component of project registration applications)
Undertaking fit and proper person assessments for applications
Responding to external and internal client enquiries regarding application requirements and status
Representing the team at relevant meetings
Drafting requests for information, executive decision briefs and notes and relevant correspondence as required for processing applications
Contributing to the maintenance and development of section processes and operating procedures.
Skills & Experience:
Working in line with standard operating procedures
Working to defined time frames or schedules
Using a range of software applications
Preparing high quality written materials
Understanding and addressing complex issues
Interpreting and applying legislation
Using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar
Using a Microsoft Sharepoint-based application
Undertaking application assessments
Client liaison
Documenting operating procedures/work instructions
Mandatory Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
