The Manager of the Aboriginal Engagement, Partnerships and Strategy directorate is accountable for supporting the implementation of the South Australian Aboriginal Housing Strategy 2021 – 2031, National Partnership Agreement on Closing the Gap, and the SA Housing Trust's Reconciliation Action Plan deliverables, including related engagement and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion and facilitate the development, implementation, and review of strategic Aboriginal Housing Strategy programs and projects.Provide leadership and expert consultation, advice, and support to SA Housing Trust in the areas of strategic policy, research, analysis, evaluation, and funding priorities.Promote innovation and implement workable policy frameworks critical to the operation of SA Housing Trust.Special Conditions: Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained.Requirements: Desirable - Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in Management, Aboriginal Policy, and strategy development.Desirable - Demonstrated understanding of Closing the Gap.Desirable - Demonstrated experience in working with diverse South Australian Aboriginal Communities.Remuneration: $121,107 - $125,679 (ASO8)
