About the role: The Graphic Designer delivers end-to-end creative services that support the delivery of the department's communications priorities and objectives.
The position works within a broader team that provides communications, media and online services for the department and its schools, preschools and services across South Australia.
Within this context, the position needs to demonstrate a high level of initiative, collaboration, responsiveness, flexibility, resilience and customer-focused service that responds to a diverse audience and constantly changing priorities.
Working within a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment, the position needs to be adaptable and able to work across multiple projects, priorities and business areas efficiently, effectively and with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Qualifications: Essential: A tertiary qualification in graphic design, multimedia or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Special conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration: ASO4: $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
