Highly respected asbestos consultancy is currently recruiting for a professional asbestos consultant to join their expanding Yorkshire office. You will be joining a long-standing team of asbestos sites, undertaking high-end and technical surveying and analytical duties to a varied client base. The client is able to offer training into further P certs, so is happy to consider a driven surveyor who is looking to develop into a split role.

Consideration will be given to applicants based in and around; Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Bradford, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Barnsley, Doncaster, Mexborough, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, and Chesterfield.

ExperienceBOHS P402 (Minimum)BOHS P403/4 (Desirable)Expert knowledge of HSG: 264 and 248 guidelines.Experience working as an asbestos surveyor and / or analyst, ideally within a consultancy setting.Strong written and verbal communication experience.

The role:Delivering the full range of asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines, to a mixed portfolio of clients across the Yorkshire region.Identifying and sampling suspected ACMs.Using handheld tablet and associated software to record accurate site findings.Producing detailed survey reports and following up with clients to provide technical consultancy services / advice.Carrying out reinspection audits of survey reports.Building and maintaining client relationships.

If P403/4 is held:Air Monitoring and airborne fibre counting.Ensuring all works are carried out in line with HSG: 248.Undertaking 4 stage clearances.Supervising removal works and signing off satisfactory removal works.
