Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeAs the Area Supervisor of the Wax line, you will play a key role in fostering a positive, people-focused work environment, maintaining productivity, and ensuring operational objectives and safety standards are met or exceeded.Reporting to the Production Manager - Foundry, you will lead a talented, collaborative and experienced team. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, problem solving and communication skills will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence.This is a full time (Monday - Friday), permanent salaried position based in Dandenong South.About us:AW Bell was established in 1952 and has evolved into an award-winning manufacturer and supplier of high-tech casting solutions globally.What you'll be doing:Uphold safety protocols and ensure the work environment is safe, compliant, and organised.Ensure efficient production of wax parts, meeting quality and production schedule requirements.Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a positive work culture centered around teamwork, communication, and respect.Monitor and manage team performance in relation to KPIs, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.Work with team members to address employment relations issues in collaboration with leadership and HR, ensuring any challenges are resolved effectively.Analyse production metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Undertake administrative tasks, including but not limited to:Managing inventory levels and ordering PPE and consumables.Ensure ERP accuracy and proper use of timekeeping systems.Coordinating shift schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet production demands.Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.Facilitate training and development opportunities to upskill team members and promote internal growth.What you bring:A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.A positive, driven personality, with strong communication skills and the ability to promote collaboration, resolve issues and develop team members.Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience leading teams and fostering a positive work environment, focusing on employee growth and productivity.A collaborative approach, with the ability to both give and ask for support when needed.Adaptability and organisational skills in managing both production-related and supervisory tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical challenges effectively.Ability to communicate clearly and adapt to a diverse workforce, particularly employees with English as a second language.Familiarity with production planning tools (e.g., ERP systems) is an advantage.How to apply:If that appeals to you then we want to hear from you!
