Currently experiencing a period of expansion, they are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager with a strong aptitude for sales and customer engagement to join their dynamic team.
THE ROLE:A newly created role working across the Tasmania Region with a strong focus on Launceston as well as Hobart.
The main responsibility of this position is to lead the team to drive new business and grow the presence of the client's business.
Reporting directly into the Regional Sales Manager, you will join a great team that prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service to its large distributor clientele base.
You will be a quick learner and demonstrate strong leadership qualities with the ability to drive change and collaborate with the sales team members nationally.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Lead, motivate and manage the activities of the field Business Development team to ensure that area sales and GP targets are exceeded.Ensure pricing disciplines are applied and all client relationships are prioritised.Proactively pursue new business in a structured, focused, and considered manner.Developing and nurturing existing customers through systematic cycle visits and interactions.Ensure appropriate and effective levels of customer contact and quality of calls are maintained within the team.Coach and mentor team in developing and delivering strategies and activities aimed at growth through existing and new clients.Demonstrating a keen ambition to drive the business forward and lead a direct business development team to success.ABOUT YOU:The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual, capable of handling a variety of tasks with efficiency and enthusiasm.
You will also have:
