Area Sales Manager – Earthmoving & Construction EquipmentNational Equipment OEM has been growing over the last 30 years and has established a brand throughout Australia. With over 80 employees in Australia, this business has driven capital equipment sales for some of the biggest projects in the country. They strive to be one of the biggest names through excellent customer service and technical backup. With offices in VIC, QLD, NSW, WA, and key distributors nationally, this business can provide technical support to the far country regions.Live Position -In this role, you will gain new business development through cold calling into building sites throughout all of Victoria, mainly covering the Melbourne region. You will need to track down and talk to key contractors and site managers, providing support by understanding their requirements and offering solutions for ongoing or upcoming projects. You will also be targeting major civil, construction, local councils, contractors, utilities customers, and leading fleet customers to see if they require your services and product systems. This is a challenging but rewarding role that will see you travel throughout all of Melbourne and the Victorian regions, dealing with a large list of customers. You will work in a high-performing sales team that pushes hard every day and aims to be number one in the business.You will be selling a huge variety of products, including:Excavators 1.8 to 60 tonneWheeled loadersGradersSkid steersSite DumpersForestry MowersAttachments and quick hitchesHydraulic HammersUsed EquipmentCandidate Requirements –You need to have thick skin, take knockbacks, strive to be the best, and really push every day. This role is certainly challenging and it's not going to be easy, but the rewards are exceptional. The management team looks after its staff, and you will be rewarded heavily based on your motivation and results. You will also receive extensive training and full support from the sales team.Minimum Requirements:3+ Years in Selling Capital EquipmentProven Sales Experience as External Sales RepClear communication and listening skillsWillingness to travel throughout all of Melbourne VICHighly motivated and self-starter to secure new business salesSalary Package –My client is looking for someone who can prove themselves and enjoys making money. This is a true sales role where you can earn substantial commissions, but you need to back yourself to make this happen.Base Salary: $100,000Fully Maintained Company 4WDFuel CardUncapped Commission StructureSuperannuation: 11.5%Laptop & iPhoneYou will undergo a 5-day training course, then be shown the ropes by one of the other Sales Reps, and will be mentored by the local sales BDM who will support you within the first 6 months.
