Job ID: 2823426 | Amazon Commercial Services Pty LtdWe're seeking experienced Area Managers to join our Customer Fulfillment team at our Fulfillment Center in Lytton, Brisbane.As an Area Manager, you'll be directly responsible for leading and developing a team of Amazon associates in one of the following areas within the Fulfillment Center Operations: receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship. You will work to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you'll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.Please note the shift pattern is set based on 4 days on and 3 days off, and can be based on night shift. We currently have opportunities for either day or night shift.Key Job Responsibilities:Leading and developing a team of Operations Amazon AssociatesMaintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-siteDeveloping performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and qualityCollaborating with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectivesPartnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standardsReviewing work forecasts and determining requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectivesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSWorking experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related fieldExperience as a manager, involving sizable teams; you're a natural at motivating others around you and building strong relationshipsDemonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities: conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDirect management experience for employees and their performanceExperience with performance metrics and process improvementExperience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and OutlookBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualificationAcknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.
