We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to commence with Zinfra on a full-time, permanent basis in Greystanes, NSW. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role has full accountability for our Power Services business in NSW.
This role primarily ensures the delivery of the works program within time and cost budgets, whilst managing risks to ensure quality and safety objectives are met. Create a learning environment that mentors and coaches their teams to ensure that we continually strive for improvement in all areas.
About the role;
Developing, fostering and encouraging a positive culture focused on customer service, delivery excellence, safety and cost effectiveness.
Report and manage Cost Centre budget.
Provide monthly report that includes: Cost, quality, timeliness and safety.
Ensure maximum utilisation and efficient allocation of resources to deliver issued work
Recruit operational staff and provide coaching and mentoring to build strong succession plans.
Promote and develop opportunities for delivery of additional work, leveraging off existing relationships and services being delivered.
Provide overall direction, management and leadership to the Delivery Teams on a daily basis.
Identify and analyse areas for improvement relating to business systems, processes and workflows as well as the implications of implementing system change.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in a Leadership role ideally within the utilities sector
Business Management or Commerce qualification would be well regarded
Proven ability to successfully drive cultural and organisational change
Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A team player, able to work at own initiative but as part of the team when appropriate.
A proactive, professional and flexible approach to work, conscientious, takes personal responsibility for own work and is accountable for its delivery and quality
Previous experience with Industrial Relations negotiations will be an advantage as will past experience in managing complex projects and the commercials around the relevant Australian Standards.
