This includes assisting customers (patients) through telephone contact, web portal, email correspondence and carrying out other administrative tasks. The focus of these roles is to resolve consumer (patient) billings for Ambulance Victoria Service fees. These 2-year fixed-term opportunities are full time and located at Ballarat or Blackburn/Doncaster.About the roleReporting to the Team Leader AR Customer Service, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Provide a high standard of customer service engagement identifying customers' needsManage high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, supported by monitoring of performance dashboards and workloadMaintain compliance, accuracy and confidentiality of records associated with customer account detailsDevelop and foster constructive and effective working relationships within Financial Transaction Services Team and across the wider AVUndertake general administrative duties and other tasksAbout youTo be considered for this position you will possess:Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable)Proven customer service skills with an ability to meet performance call handling targetsHigh degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality controlStrong verbal communication skills to engage professionally with internal and external customersIntermediate Microsoft Office suite competence level including Word and ExcelWorking at Ambulance VictoriaAs a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
