APS6 Regulatory Officer Are you ready to play a key role in the dynamic and essential aviation sector? As an APS6 Regulatory Officer, you'll be at the forefront of regulatory compliance, airport planning, and development, helping to shape the future of Australia's airports. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience working in a collaborative federal government environment, with scope to contribute to high-impact projects and policy execution.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with federal legislation, overseeing airport planning and development activities. Deliver on multiple activities and projects, often within tight timeframes to achieve regulatory and compliance outcomes. Draft, review, and contribute to operational manuals, guidance documents, briefings, and reports. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support regulatory and policy objectives. Perform secretariat duties for the Board and support the continuous improvement of compliance and reporting processes. Skills and Experience: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of forming evidence-based conclusions. Excellent time-management abilities. Clear, concise communication skills - both written and verbal. Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory scenarios. Experience in regulation and compliance, with an ability to interpret and apply legislation.
