APS6 Project OfficerDecember 2024 / January 2025 Start$91,944 to $104,393 + 15.4% superannuation6 month non-ongoing + possible extensionMultiple LocationsBaseline ClearanceAbout the roleThe Project Officer will provide critical administrative and project coordination support across multiple IT and Data initiatives within the organisation. This role will work closely with the Director of IT & Data and various stakeholders to support smooth project delivery and effective administrative operations.Key responsibilitiesProject Administration; including maintenance of project documentation, tracking project milestones, development of project schedules, maintain project files and the storage of project documentation.Meeting Coordination and Documentation; including the preparation and distribution of meeting agenda, detailed minute taking, follow up on action items.Procurement Support; including assisting in the preparation of procurement documentation, supporting the evaluation process and contract administration.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication; including coordination of consultations, assisting in the preparation of communication materials.Our ideal candidateOur ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination/ administration along with an understanding of procurement processes and documentation.You'll be an exceptional communicator able to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, you'll have an interest in IT and Data or experience working within a similar setting.You'll be able to demonstrate:Demonstrated experience in project administration or coordination roles.Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in preparing formal business documentation.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience in coordinating meetings and taking minutes.Familiarity with project management methodologies.Experience with risk and issue management.Application RequirementsMust be an Australian Citizen.Must hold a current Police Check within the last 90 days (prior to commencement) or be willing to obtain one.Must hold or be able to obtain a Baseline Clearance.How to applyIf this role is of interest to you, APPLY NOW, with your current resume in MS Word format along with an expression of interest.
