My client is seeking experienced APS6 policy officers for significant reforms and helping set the strategic direction for the supports and services provided under the Agency's scheme.
Duties may include:
Managing policy projects Lead research and analysis to inform policy development Work with stakeholders and in teams to solve problems Draft policy, strategy, and project documents Contribute to a positive team culture About You:
The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and great communicator, with experience managing policy projects and coordinating policy. You will be a collaborator, who brings ideas and opportunities to policy problems, balancing risk and operational constraints. You will work independently, in teams and flexibly.
Our ideal candidates will have:
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Understanding of the policy development process and how it works to achieve outcomes. Policy development experience including contributing to preparing and reviewing policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings and correspondence Candidates with an understanding and experience relating to the disability sector and market will be considered favourably.
