Your new company
This Federal Government Agency is seeking an APS6 Policy Officer for a 12 month non-ongoing contract with the possibility of permanency at the end of the contract.
Your new role
In this role, you will undertake high level policy work in relation to a Government plan/framework that is now in the implementation stage. Day to day tasks include briefing materials for senior executives, presenting to partners, synthesising information into cohesive documents, provision of policy advice, and significant stakeholder engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate prior experience at the APS6 level in a policy-based role. You will have very strong writing skills and analytical skills and will be able to think strategically, make connections and be able to engage with others on a daily basis. Research skills are also a plus.
