$91,702 - $104,753 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation Richmond - NSW The Role The Contract Management Officer in the Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) Commercial team provides critical contract support to the C-27J Spartan, C-130J Hercules through Life Support Sustainment Contracts, as well as the maintenance and support of the Propulsions and Simulator Contracts.
The role is responsible for conducting a wide range of Commercial support functions, including but not limited to contract management, contract change proposals, export controls, technical data and intellectual property, governance and assurance activities and commercial correspondence under the contract.
You will be responsible for: Assisting with procurement planning, contract formation and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
Drafting and delivering procurement and contracting documentation including templates, correspondence, reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other procurement and contract management documentation.
Reviewing contracted services and documentation to ensure and verify correct charges and payments are applied.
Providing advice in relation to procurement, contracting, financial and administrative policies with a strong emphasis on compliance, governance and assurance.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
