**The Role**
The Directorate of Domain Governance, Analysis and Reporting is seeking a Risk Officer to join our talented and dynamic team.

As the Risk Officer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals to develop and implement risk management strategies. You will be responsible for supporting our stakeholders in identifying potential risks, assessing their potential impact on the organisation, and providing recommendations for risk mitigation in accordance with Defence risk frameworks and policy.

You will support management of program risk and issues through ensuring responsible parties are nominated and required actions followed through, including facilitation of resolution workshops and meetings. You will proactively manage risk registers across the Maritime Domain to support establishment of consistent mitigation and contingency plans, and monitor, assess, and communicate effectiveness of risk strategies.

**About our Team**
The Maritime Domain Support Office (MDSO) is Navy's Domain-level Support Office, supporting Head Navy Capability to deliver on five complex Maritime Capability Programs. The purpose of the MDSO is to support domain level decision-making and management of these Maritime Capability Programs.
