About the role
The ACIC are seeking to fill Intelligence Analyst positions at the APS5 and APS6 levels. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will contribute to the planning, development and production of intelligence outcomes and outputs. Focused on the production of value-added intelligence product as a result of the collection, evaluation and analysis of information, Intelligence Analysts work closely with other intelligence professionals to drive operational activity and produce impactful insights to inform a range of partners on various aspects of transnational serious and organised crime impacting Australia.
Key responsibilities:
APS5
Responsibilities for APS5 roles include but are not limited to:
Contributing to intelligence planning and production.
Evaluating and analyzing collected information.
Collaborating with other intelligence professionals.
Providing insights to inform partners on crime-related issues.
APS6
Responsibilities for APS6 roles include but are not limited to:
Leading the development of intelligence products.
Managing projects related to intelligence analysis.
Coordinating with stakeholders to enhance operational outcomes.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in these roles, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:
APS5:
- Relevant experience in intelligence analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
APS6:
- Proven track record in leading intelligence projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Essential qualifications APS5/6:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Desirable qualifications APS6:
- Advanced degree in intelligence, criminology, or related discipline.
