Approvals Specialist

Work Location : Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.
Roster : Monday to Friday An exciting opportunity exists for an Approvals Specialist to join the Fortescue Family, to support the company's Metals objectives and deliver future and current iron-ore mining projects within the Pilbara Region of Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities Work closely with key internal stakeholders to identify project approvals requirements. Develop approvals strategies that meet business objectives. Coordinate the collation and preparation of approvals pathway advice. Prepare materials for approvals planning meetings and forums. Identify approvals schedule risks and mitigations and monitor approval risk profile. Ensure Iron Ore project / operational information is current and correct within the Integrated Approvals Schedule. Utilise the Integrated Approvals Schedule to track and assess approval progress and delivery status. Coordinate the approvals reporting processes. Maintain and foster a working environment which promotes safety in all that we do. Qualifications and Experience Significant experience preparing and obtaining approvals or in the delivery of energy or mining projects and operations. Excellent coordination and project management skills; planning and scheduling capabilities would be looked upon favourably. Ability to use Geospatial Information Systems. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to liaise and influence with various levels of stakeholder groups. A proactive, self-motivated mindset, coupled with demonstrated ability to show initiative. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. About Us Be part of something big.
