About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cummins Technician Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.
Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120)Work under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician to gain practical experience and develop your skillsParticipate in structured on-the-job training and off-the-job TAFE/Registered Training Organization studyDevelop your technical expertise by completing a range of engine product training with Cummins Technical TrainersContribute to the maintenance and repair of Cummins engines and products in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentRequirementsA positive attitude and eagerness to learnA passion for working with Cummins products and in the industryExcellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamExcellent level of language, literacy, and numeracy skillsA willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine productsRight to work in AustraliaPreference to have completed year 12 or equivalentA strong focus on safety and wellbeingWillingness to embrace diversity and make Cummins a great place to workAbout CumminsCummins is a global leader in engine technology and a company that values diversity, inclusion, and employee development.
