Application Support Engineer, Java

A newly created opportunity for a support engineer to join this team and work on BAU and projects involving Java, SQL, and Shell Scripting.Due to growth, my client is looking for a third person to join its team (in a wider development practice). Working on market announcement applications, you will be responsible for application support, BAU, and some new project work.The ideal candidate will be able to do some coding in Java, create fixes after troubleshooting, and manage changes with the vendor.To be a success in this role, you will bring the following skills:Java, application support, and some developmentShell ScriptingSQLCI/CD production releasesTroubleshootingVendor managementThis is a flexible work environment close to good public transport links, with a hybrid working model of three days in the office.
