NV1 security clearance required ACT, QLD, SA, VIC - Hybrid / 2 days WFH Long 12+24 month Federal Government contract - Start in the new year Our client, a large Federal Government Department who supports Australians by efficiently delivering high-quality, accessible services and payments on behalf of the government, is seeking up to 5 experienced Application Packagers to join their team.
Key duties include: Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package), configure security patch delivery, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for both Windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM / MECM. Design, develop, coordinate, and manage application packaging projects. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows application packaging and deployments. Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package improvements/fixes. Criteria: Minimum of 3+ years experience designing, developing, coordinating, and managing application packaging projects. Knowledge of and experience with writing remediation scripts and installation scripts with PowerShell. Enterprise knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Image Management, Application Packaging & Distribution, performance monitoring tools in a large, distributed environment. Demonstrated experience in Active Directory / Intune / DHCP / DNS / Group Policy in a distributed environment. Office locations: Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane
