As part of the Technology Team, this role collaborates closely with business stakeholders to deliver efficient technical support services aimed at advancing Bupa's strategic objectives and ensuring the stability of our systems.
The purpose of this role is to ensure seamless operation and optimisation of business applications and integrations across systems.
This role focuses on managing, troubleshooting, testing, and supporting applications to enhance user experience, maintain system reliability, protect data privacy, and minimise downtime.
Additionally, any processes and requirements for strategic change initiatives are captured, documented, and successfully delivered.
You will be part of the on-call support to address any urgent issues promptly.
Success in this role is measured by timely issue resolution, efficient business and technology team collaboration, and continuous improvement in processes and system stability, ensuring that applications and integrations are aligned with Bupa's strategic objectives and compliant with industry regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesFocus on Healthcare Centres (HC) applications, particularly in the areas of triaging requests/incidents that come through BESS.
Provide analytical, problem-solving, testing, and technical troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve reported tickets.Act as/Assist the senior analysts with analysis of requirements obtained from business and technical stakeholders and capture analysis results.Act as/Assist the senior developers with some application and integration development tasks.Maintain and enhance knowledge base support documentation including integration configurations, workflow rules, and business logic to streamline and enhance business processes and improve user experience.Quality assurance - Draft and execute test cases (TVT) and prepare test data for UAT as directed by clinical stakeholders.Coordinate planned server/software upgrades with business and technical stakeholders as per Bupa deployment guidelines.Work with business SMEs, perform UAT/PVT, and document results as supporting documents.Involve in HC releases/onboarding, hyper-care, and participate in Bupa's change management process.Data analysis - Assist in generating data reports and data platform integration.Embrace modern ways of working and an agile mindset – working within an operating model which prioritises forming persistent long-term teams of business and technology capability empowered to deliver on commercial and customer outcomes.Community - Proactively support the uplift of project delivery practices and participate in and contribute to Communities of Practice within Bupa.To Be Successful in This Role You'll Need:Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar System/Application/Integration Analyst (or equivalent) role.Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT/Healthcare industry.Great analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.Great customer-facing skills and stakeholder expectation management skills.Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Experience with SQL, SAS, and/or Data Bricks/Warehouse.Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Experience with CRM, API, or core PMS integration concepts and practices as desirable.Experience working with delivery and collaboration toolsets, especially work systems e.g., MS Azure, DevOps, Atlassian, etc.Practical experience of operating hybrid delivery methods for technology development, including agile methodologies, waterfall delivery, and lean, using various techniques such as use cases, process mapping, user stories, etc.Familiarity with the SDLC framework.Evidence of continuous improvement, developing purposeful solutions and practices to improve applications, end-to-end solutions, and team performance.Desire to work in an information systems or healthcare environment.Willingness to commute for onsite support whenever required.What's in It for You?As well as a competitive salary, a range of Bupa benefits and flexible working/work from home, you'll be challenged and encouraged to innovate.
