About the Role

A newly created opportunity in our Project Development Services team has become available in Perth.

The APAC Project Director will be responsible for overseeing all Project Works across a dedicated client portfolio for our Integrated Facilities Management business. The role will work closely with our Perth Project Development Services team but will report into the client portfolio Account Director and embedded at the client corporate location.

The role will ensure the successful upfront delivery of projects and be heavily involved in business case preparation and validation to ensure the right solutions are proposed to the client. This is an exciting client leadership role that will be responsible for ensuring services are proposed and delivered to the client in alignment with the IFM business across all regions and locations.Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop the relationships with the client Property team, client stakeholders, the C&W account-based team and the project delivery team to ensure all are motivated and aligned with their inputs to a project and its transition from property to operational.
Ensure consistent reporting is provided by the C&W team and review the outputs to ensure this is beneficial to the client
Develop the Project Delivery Playbooks that are consistent with those of the client in both the Corporate and Site processes and ensure this can be applied to both and the delivery teams can easily transition between project delivery in corporate and mine sites.
Be the point of escalation should approval not be provided to identify the reasons and the potential impact to the project.
Define the delivery models under Cushman & Wakefield PDS team with Minor and Major projects,
Responsible for maintaining a working relationship with all C&W IFM account team staff
Responsible for ensuring relationship with the client for all project works and manage key stakeholders across the business with support from the C&W IFM team and Account Director.
Define the service required in respect of the C&W delivery model i.e. Design & Build, Project Management, or Building Consultancy.
Establish the Project Team members and stakeholders requiring input into the project at the various stages and provide all control documentation to the delivery team.
Assist the Project Manager with the initial start-up of the project and provide advice in relation to any feasibility advice or property negotiations to ensure this support the successful delivery of the project.
Work with the Project Manager to ensure they are adequately briefed about their role and the process to be followed.
Be familiar with all projects to ensure the upstream reporting is in line with the project progress and make sure that the Project Manager is adequately equipped and resourced to deliver the project.

About You
You will be an individual with extensive experience in a similar scale/service provider from a facilities, project, engineering, or construction background. You will also have demonstrated experience in account management effective in ensuring client outcomes are achieved and complex relationships managed appropriately.
You will take a wholistic approach to the role, ensuring cross-selling opportunities are utilised and will effectively leverage your leadership capabilities and experience to manage and develop and small team of direct reports.
You Will Also Have
Minimum tertiary qualifications in building, construction or engineering related disciplines
Proficient in client engagement and management
Proficient in procurement and contracting methodologies
Proficient in financial understanding and management at a project level
Ability to gain client and project team trust and be seen in a positive light by peers
