Anti-Social Behaviour & Nuisance Officer

Anti-Social Behaviour & Nuisance Officer required for a council in the Ashfield region on a temporary basis. This role would see you responsible for managing a portfolio of live cases relating to Anti-Social Behaviour, Nuisance, and Environmental issues ranging from early intervention, prevention through to prosecution and possession.You will be required to effectively investigate, manage and resolve cases of Anti-Social and Nuisance Behaviour affecting residents and visitors to Ashfield. This includes but is not limited to managing complaints of verbal and written abuse, targeted behaviour, noise nuisance, bonfires, and waste on land on behalf of all residents and Council tenants.You will be required to provide a victim-centred approach, ensure timely action and effective use of our tools and powers (including prevention and enforcement) under the ASB, Crime and Policing Act, Housing Act, and Environment Protection Act.Essential RequirementsCurrently hold an enhanced DBS or be able to pass oneHave a UK Driving LicenceExperience in dealing with Anti-Social BehaviourPay rate: £25 - £27 per hour, Umbrella, paid weeklyDays: Monday - FridayHours: 37 hours a weekTarget Start Date: ASAPDuration: until end of January 2025, but may be extendedLocation: Various locations across Ashfield, NG17If this is of interest to you, please send Holly a copy of your CV or call (phone number removed).
