The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating portfolio performance, providing insights that drive data-driven decision-making on Queensland Rail's investment plan. This involves analysing complex data sets, developing and maintaining insightful reports and dashboards, and collaborating with the team and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely project progress reporting.Key responsibilities:Evaluate portfolio performance through data analysis and reporting.Gather business requirements and feedback to inform reporting and dashboard development.Develop and maintain reports and visualisations using PowerBI and Tableau.Engage with stakeholders to drive deadlines and capture accurate project progress reports.Take ownership of reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with team goals and project success.Assist in developing training materials to improve project delivery reporting inputs.Manage the portfolio reporting calendar, communications, and SharePoint site.Collaborate to develop reporting processes that foster a 'One Team' approach.What We're Looking ForAdvanced skills in data analysis and visualisation development using PowerBI and Tableau.Advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to analyse large data sets.Solid understanding of portfolio, program, and project delivery principles.Proven ability to exercise initiative, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.Remuneration & Employment TypeThis is a permanent, fulltime position, based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $113,768 plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.Benefits That CountAll that Queensland Rail achieves each day relies on the hard work and talent of our teams.
