The hospital is a 303-bed acute care teaching facility, serving a population of over 250,000 people in Adelaide's western suburbs. Role Overview: As an Anaesthetist, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective anaesthesia services for surgical procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities: Administer anaesthesia during surgical procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anaesthesia as needed. Participate in on-call rosters across 7 days. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Minimum Requirements: AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or within 6 months of receiving the fellowship. International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as Substantially Comparable are also encouraged to apply. Demonstrated experience in anesthesia practice, preferably in a hospital setting. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including participation in an on-call roster across 7 days.
