The Contract: Fixed-Term, Part-Time, Parental Leave contract. 48.0 hours per fortnight to 03.10.2025
The Position:
Under direct supervision of the Occupational Therapy Team Leader, the Grade Two Allied Health Assistant will provide clinical support and therapy for the outpatient clients that maintains and promotes recovery and independence. Key to this role is to support the pathology team in the provision of clinical care to patients in individual groups or settings, using screening tools to gather information, documenting client progress and maintaining supplies and equipment.

What you Need:

Allied Health Assistant qualification – minimum Certificate III level
Minimum 12 months Allied Health Assistance experience is preferred
An understanding of the physical and psychological aspects of rehabilitation care and the ability to treat, empathise with and provide person-centred care to individuals with a range of abilities.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to enable effective liaison within a multi-disciplinary team and accurate documentation of case notes and statistics.
