Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.The essential requirements 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics);Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;Strong team player;Ability to follow supervisory direction;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Consistent positive and proactive attitude;Passion for safe work practices;Valid work visa;Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);Current Australian Driver's licence.Shifts will be primarily Monday to Friday day shifts, with some possible early/late & night shifts.
Additional qualifications We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Tamworth before applying.
