Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, C-130 Hercules, Citation and Kingair Lead Planes, CH47D Chinooks, Sikorsky UH60, S-61 and S76 and Bell 412 helicopters we have the ability to perform rapid aerial fire suppression missions, including initial attack and extended attack protocols, Search and Rescue and wide array of special mission flight.
Coulson Aviation Australia also operate and manage New South Wales Rural Fire Service-owned aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems and management, and operating personnel.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are currently recruiting qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to be part of our team!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft to ensure compliance with publications and regulatory standards and maintain aircraft operational availability. Document maintenance activities and ensure that work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner. Collaborate with a team of managers, engineers, pilots and emergency service personnel to maximize aircraft readiness and availability. Assist in base activities such as task preparations, stores and GSE maintenance tasks required in support of the ongoing operation. Be responsible for tool control and the general condition, upkeep and housekeeping of any hangar, workshop or related work areas and vehicles. Nurture a safe working culture and compliance with SMS and other company documentation. REQUIREMENTS: Current CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer license with B1 and/or B2 category.Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card.Type rated or experience on any of Chinook CH-47, Bell 412, Sikorsky UH-60, Boeing 737, Cessna Citation and/or Beechcraft King Air airframes.An understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements.Ability to interpret maintenance documents, directives, maintenance data reporting, using technical orders.To apply please submit a short cover letter and resume to https://careers.coulsongroup.com/jobs.
