After Hours’ Nurse Manager

Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital providing specialized Mental Health, Medical Rehabilitation, Day Surgery, Day Program, Community Outreach and Outpatient Services.

The ‘after Hours’ Nurse Manager (AHNM) is responsible for the operational, clinical and resource management of a defined set of services as delegated from the Director of Nursing and / or CEO. This position is pivotal in providing support to and in the absence of Nurse Unit Managers.
The successful applicant will be accountable for the operational management of the hospital after hours. This will be achieved through the application of strong leadership, sound analytical and negotiation skills. The AHNM will have a well-developed ability to work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve efficient and effective patient flow and use of human resources, will have proven communication and interpersonal skills, will be supportive in the implementation of management decisions and will be committed to improving performance.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience Demonstrated leadership and Management skills / knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required. Ability to ensure excellence in customer service Holding or working towards tertiary management qualification
