About the Role: This is a full-time position within the Medical Workforce Unit. You will be responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment functions (recruitment, candidate management, credentialing, contracting and onboarding) for junior medical staff within defined clinical units at the RCH.
What You'll Achieve: Complete administrative requirements to support annual bulk recruitment cycles and clinical unit recruitment. Provide support and capacity building to individual clinical units regarding recruitment and candidate selection processes, and ensure correct delegation of authority for appointment decisions. Ensure accurate and timely processing of electronic recruitment requisitions. Coordinate credentialing and onboarding processes for successful candidates. Generate employment contracts for successful candidates within required timelines and to appropriate quality standards. Coordinate with other internal stakeholders to ensure orientation and onboarding arrangements are in place for new starters. Classification for this position will range from AO41 – AO45 classification codes (base salary $81,463 to $90,392 per annum, plus superannuation).
Your Skills and Experience: Recognised undergraduate/graduate-entry or postgraduate qualification in human resources management, industrial relations or equivalent AND/OR recognised equivalent industry experience. Demonstrated experience in working as a human resources advisor/practitioner or workforce coordinator within a hospital or healthcare setting. Sound written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a broader administrative team. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. About the Department: The Medical Workforce Unit oversees the centralised recruitment, onboarding and coordination of junior medical staff (JMS)/paediatric trainees, working both on-site at RCH and rotating through various external Victorian secondment sites.
